Until recently, forests have been underestimated as a source of well-being and health.
The International Society of Forest Therapy (ISFT) demonstrates the benefits of forests for well-being and health.
Therefore the ISFT promotes research into the effects of forests on health, develops a basis for high-quality training for forest therapists, organizes an annual international conference and works on the networking of all involved.
